My brand of addiction

Friday, June 11, 2010 @ 4:21 AM

Fashion never fails to amuse me. I use this to express myself but I'm not really like those who wear very fancy and expensive clothes. Plain and simple is the perfect mix to my everyday outfit. One thing that would really make me go gaga is....SHOES! I love everything about it!

Earlier, I accompanied a friend to Trinoma since she needed advice on what to wear. Of course, I was at a tedium at home so I went with her. After completing her shopping list, we went back to a store called Shoe Gallery. I ended up buying a pair of flats that's on sale.

Those flats were the 5th pair that I got since the year started. GAH! My shoe addiction is eating up my savings! MUST STOP. :(

Parents over lover

Lovers come and go but parents don't. True. There will be that person who will make us feel special and who will increase our sense of belonging to this world. But the thing is, that undeniable connection with our parents is for more important that any other thing in this planet.

Every since, I've been fond of telling stories to my parents, especially my mother. May it be school, friends, or love life, my mom knows most of it. I never had a problem of communicating with them. I told them everything that is needed to know about me. The great thing about it is we both are open to each other. They don't instantly get mad when I told them about something that I've done wrong. They always give advise on how to make things right.

My mom is always vocal about her opinions about having a boyfriend or being in love at this stage of my life and she makes a lot of sense, actually. I made a promise to my mom to always let her know of all the things that's happening to especially if it concerns my studies. Let's face it. Love has always an effect to our priorities.

For now I prioritize school. Besides, I'm too young and I know I'm not yet ready for such commitments.

I may say that I sometimes feel that I'm a hypocrite for always altering my promises to myself. But this one's different. It involves the two most important people in my life.

I WILL KEEP MY PROMISE NOT LIKE YOU.

Me and you. Just as two.

First, I would like to apologize. Haven't been able to update for like a year. :( Sorry, blogger! But this feels refreshing. I'll try to do this again more often.

My day was a blast. Watched a movie with some high school friends (God knows I deeply miss high school), Sex and the city 2! Actually, we were supposed to watch Shrek 3 but...but...it is so expensive because it is shown in 3d. So we opted for Sex and the city 2 and man, thank God we chose that over shrek. It was so hilarious.

Favorite scenes:
1) when Carrie's husband (I suck at memorizing character names. Forgive.) gave her forgiveness after she kissed her ex boyfriend in Abu Dhabi and a ring that symbolizes her commitment to their marriage. It's just sweet. :">
2) when the girls was in their high class flight up until their tour in the hotel. It's so luxurious.

For all those who haven't watch this, I think you better do. :) I just love watching movies with friends. :">
