Tonight, I drink.
Yes. I'm in grave need of escape.
Every felt like a blur.
As I hold my glass,
I reminisce to what have and should have been.
But that's the thing.
All those vivid memories are just things in the past.
Tears streaming down my face,
I bombarded myself with questions even I can't answer.
Why is he like this?
Am I fooled?
Was our love unreal?
But then he wouldn't care.
I hide and cry.
He continue on with his life.
Not knowing that there's a girl who's in deep pain;
Struggling within his numb heart.

My parents have been (and still are) fans of Michael Jackson. I grew up listening to their music but didn't really appreciate it the way my parents do. His music is great although before I didn't really understand why people cry when he sings and why he is entitled as the King of Pop.About 2 weeks ago, a classmate of mine told me about his death. She was so berserk about this unfortunate news, while I, a music lover who didn't even appreciate him the way I should be, felt a little dismayed. My mom's idol is dead. He was gone too soon.
When I got home, I immediately asked my father about this. He said that he was really dead. As each day passes, I never fail to watch the news or read the newspaper that was about it. Only through this articles and reports did I really see the light of Mr. Jackson.
Declared as the King of Pop, Michael Jackson molded a new music trend. His famous moonwalk was perfected by his followers. People listen to his music and are inspired by them. Because of him, African-American felt a new hope, that is to able to go out and experience what really life is. They are now accepted in the music industry. True enough, Michael Jackson healed the world.
Now, I now see Michael Jackson in full clarity. I now understand why many people would kill just to watch him. He is a role model. Although, he had lived a life of controversies, his sense of service is what really shines through. Long live Michael Jackson. His music will always play in our hearts.

(My own version of I Wish I Had Said)I wish I had said
Everyday you're on my mind
Stuck in my heart
Saying you're one of a kind
I wish I had said
I appreciate you calling me
Asking me if I'm okay
Laughing with me daily
I wish I had said
I love you too
And meant it
But, alas, I'm in blue
But all I did was stare
To wait for your glare
To wish that you'll be mine
So all things will be fine
Now I'm in regret
Damn. It's hard to forget
All the things in the past
Are gone so, so fast
