Just finished watching American Idol. After tonight's show I said to myself that I HAVE to post something about it.So the show started with Ryan Seacrest ranting about the "unexpected occurrence" before their run through. Reportedly, the American Idol thing (I don't really know what it's called) was shattered. That incident implies that the top 4 didn't have the chance to practice on-stage before the show because they have to clean the area. But as the audience say, "The show must go on."
First up was Adam. Oh boy. Forgive me on commenting on this one first but WHAT'S UP WITH HIS CHEST-REVEALING SHIRT?! Seriously, it scared me. He looks like a serial killer! Tss. Performance-wise, he was excellent. Well, duh, he IS Adam Lambert. That's expected, however, for me he's still not deserving. He can always come back to musical. I've some say that he's way better in theater than in Idol. Maybe he is really meant for theater!
Second was Allison. She was great, actually. I expected her to be boring like she was in the past weeks. Surprise. Surprise.
Third was the Kris-Danny duet. I admit, there were some parts wherein Kris sounded pitchy. We all know that Rock and Roll is not his thing. On the contrary, I was shocked to see Danny doing well in their performance. All together, they sounded great.
Next was Kris version of Come Together by the Beatles. Thank God he opted for classic rock. That's the best option for him. Imagine Kris performing a Sex Pistol song. Man. That would be a wreck! His performance was GREAT! I mean, come on, we're looking at a guy whose not capable in rock and roll music. Although some seemed satisfied with his performance, I have this feeling that he'll be in the bottom two tomorrow. But I pray that America will vote for him.
Danny's solo was the fifth performance. The first part was mediocre. The last part was weird! It's like he imitated Adam. Oh boy. It was a wreck. Believe me. Despite this, I think that he'll be safe in tomorrow's results. Although tonight was a disaster, we cannot deny his talent and what his voice can do. Man. He has guts!
Last was the Adam-Allison duet. Again, I would like to comment on Adam's wardrobe. WHAT'S UP WITH THE GRAY AND BLACK STRIPE PANTS?! Lol. The usage of that pants is for costumes for plays like Romeo and Juliet or Merchant of Venice. Haha. As expected, it was spectacular. The two were known as the "rocker dudes". Surprisingly though, I anticipated that Adam will overpower Allison but hey, the two complimented each other. I agreed with the judges. The Adam-Allison duet was definitely a winner.
So who will the cast off be? Can't wait. It better be not Kris!
