Ain't wanna feel pressure

Thursday, August 21, 2008 @ 5:46 AM

Back when I was in second year, my bus mate, a junior then, told me that junior year is very very challenging. A lot of teachers love giving works and most of the time they pile up. Thus, their sleepless nights.

True enough. Third year is very hard. Our teachers gives homework like there's no tomorrow. I have also experienced staying up late. Thanks for caffeine who never fails to keep me alive.

Earlier, during our soc sci period, my teacher asks us if our parents are pressuring us. I'm lucky my parents are not like the ones who loves comparing their own child to others. But, it seems that pressure is my lolo's best friend (read my previous post, "How To Keep On The Right Track"). I don't have the guts to share my utterly painful experiences with him. I really know that I would cry if I did. Haha.

When I logged in in Ym, I chatted with my friend, reg for a while. Coincidentally, she told about her father's pressuring ways. (Wow. This day is all about pressure). As her friend, I tried my best to cheer her up (like HELLO! that's the very purpose of having friends).

This got me thinking. Why are parents like that? I know deep inside that all they want is the best for us but, sometimes, they're really beyond what is right. Thank God for giving me such parents who appreciate my achievements no matter how little and insignificant they are.
